The 3 Absolutes

I'm starting a new Sci-Fi series called The Absolutes. It's about people who are born with special powers and abilities. These people either use them for good or evil. In the world they live in, people who are Absolute are seen as threats by normal society. The Absolutes were given a bad reputation do to many of them using their powers for robbing banks, murdering, ect. 
Anyways, these are the 3 main characters.

Name: Cassy Vensheel

Age: 14 

Birth: August 30th

Height: 5,3

Special Ability: Invisibility 

Main Heredities: American, Korean, German 

Personality Traits:
Witty
Secretive 
Shy (Hides this trait by acting grumpy)
Loyal
Patient 

Background:

Cassy Vensheel used to live with her uncle because her parents mysteriously disappeared when she was only an infant. Being the only family member she knew, they were very close. Her uncle cared for her despite the fact that she had strange power from who knows where. But on one tragic day, her uncle died of a stroke when she was only 10, and she was left to be put in an orphanage. 

At the orphanage, she seemed like a pretty ordinary child to the caregivers, until about a week later of being there, she revealed her invisibility to some of the children. A small majority of the kids were amazed by her trick, though the rest were frightened and ran off to tell an adult. After the adults found out, they immediately called the authorities to take her away. (Though turning invisible was harmless alone, they were afraid that she may use her power to steal or do something much worse.)

Cassy soon realising that her power was an abnormality, she escaped the orphanage before the cops arrived. She was afraid to find out what they'd do if they found her, so she ran to the furthest building she could find to hide in. She thought a gas station would be the least likely place for the police to look, so she stayed there. That's where she met the two other girls, Gracie and Ellie.  

In present time, Cassy plays the role as the serious and unemotional stereotype, but in reality, she's probably the most overemotional, but like to hide it. She's the most intelligent of the group, and she always finds a way to get the group out of a sticky situation.

Name: Gracie King

Age: 15

Birth: November 4th

Height: 5,5

Special Ability:  Telekinesis 

Main Heredities: American, Jamaican

Personality Traits:
Determined 
Bossy
Harsh at times
Secretive
Resentful 

Background:

Treated poorly by her father for having an ability, Gracie grew up to be a rather harsh and tough individual. She believed that her dad often neglected and emotionally abused her because he was afraid of her special power. Often times when she was young, she tried to be nice to her dad in hoping that he'd change and show even the smallest bit of affection, but unfortunately, their connection stayed the same.

When she turned 9, she decided that her relationship with her father was going nowhere, and that if she stayed with him, she'd become more mentally damaged.
She went off to live on the streets, and to feed herself, she'd steal money from people pockets/purses or beg restaurant owners for food. She'd do this for about 2 more years, until meeting Cassy and Ellie.

In present time, Gracie has the role of the Leader in the group. She always looks after Cassy and Ellie and tries to teach them to be as tough as her.

Name: Ellie Melbish

Age: 15

Birth: March 23rd

Height: 5,4

Special Ability:  Teleportation  

Main Heredities: American, Scandinavian (Swedish) 

Personality Traits:
Childish
Optimistic
Gullible 
Imaginative 
Intuitive 

Background:

Ellie lived with a man who took in Absolutes of all ages and hid them from the government in his house. The government, being aware of this man, would find his house and try to take him away along with the Absolutes he was hiding. The man always had a procedure for the Absolutes to follow incase this happened again. The procedure didn't contain of much, besides running, tips on where to run or hide, and where to find the next safehouse. 

One day, they had to take action because the government found them once again. The Absolutes, the man, and Ellie followed the procedure, but in the process, Ellie got lost in the woods surrounding the house. She walked aimlessly though the heavily green forest, until she arrived in a small city. While exploring the city, she met up with Gracie. They later found out that they were both absolutes, so they decided to stick together. 

In present time, Ellie takes the role as the Pride and Joy of the group. She always tries to stay Optimistic in tough situations, and when Gracie or Cassy are feeling upset, she tries to calm or cheer them up as best as she could.

Quick note:
For those who remember my Bionic Twins, Chris and Avery, I'm thinking of pulling them from the Sake Of Science series because I can't seem to find a working role for them in the story. So I'm might move them to The Absolutes series.
